Hi, I’m Lauren, a psychotherapist, spiritual care provider, and community builder.
I’m also an artist, theatre producer, and mother.
I work with clients experiencing life transitions, grief, and periods of emotional distress, helping them reconnect to themselves and reclaim their narrative.
I believe that change offers us an opportunity for deep transformation and I’m honoured to be here with you on that journey. Maybe we can even make it beautiful.

Psychotherapy for Individuals
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO and a Qualifying Member of the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care. In addition to private psychotherapy, I work as a Spiritual Care Psychotherapist at the University Health Network supporting patients and families through major health crises. I provide a warm, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ affirming space where all identities are respected, supported, and celebrated.
Grief and End of Life Support
I have a wide a range of experience supporting individuals and their families navigating dying, death, grief and healing in the sacred period that follows. I approach grief therapy from a non-pathological perspective, helping you navigate this period with compassion. I also have experience working with patients who are on life support, as well as individuals who are accessing Medical Assistance in Dying.
Artistic Life
I am also a writer and a professional arts administrator with a business degree and extensive experience in communications, fundraising, producing, and business administration for theatre and performing arts organizations. I view my artistic work as an extension of my spiritual care practice and I am particularly interested in building a resilient artistic sector where individuals can thrive.
My Approach
I love therapy because I think we all deserve an empathetic witness to our unique life story — especially in a world that so rarely offers us the space to be fully ourselves.
I offer a grounded, integrative approach to psychotherapy that brings together depth psychology, relational psychodynamics, and spiritually informed care. Drawing on attachment theory, psychoanalytic frameworks, and trauma-informed practice, I support individuals navigating grief, identity shifts, spiritual questions, and life transitions.
My work is rooted in the belief that psychological healing and spiritual growth (defined according to your terms and lived experience) are deeply interconnected. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, loss, or a sense of disconnection, I provide a space where unconscious patterns can surface and be gently explored. I welcome people of all or no faith backgrounds, and I am especially attuned to those on a path of deconstruction, reconstruction, or spiritual reformation.
Together, we tend to the inner life with honesty and compassion, supporting your movement toward integration, meaning, and inner resilience. We will explore the questions that matter most to you, and help you reconnect with your own clarity, strength, and sense of belonging.

What are your qualifications?
I have a Masters Degree in Psychospiritual Studies (MPS) with a focus in Buddhist Psychology from The University of Toronto. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Qualifying Member of the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC).
I am currently pursuing a Masters of Theological Studies focused on spiritual language and rituals for nonreligious and/or multi-religious people.

How does a therapy session work?
In therapy, we slow down together to explore your inner world—thoughts, emotions, memories, and patterns—so that healing, clarity, and new possibilities can emerge.
We will start with a complimentary 20 minute consultation to talk about where you are at in your life currently, share my approach and methodology, and see if our vibe fits with what you are looking for. Then we will schedule our first session of 50 mins in length. In that session we will talk! And talk some more. We might practice some meditation or breath work together if that is your thing, or even engage in some artistic practice. We will establish goals for our work together and regularly check in with each other about how it’s going.
What if I change my mind?
Good therapy only works when you want to engage fully. If you decide at any point that you don’t want to continue, we will work together on a plan to pause and make sure your emotional safety is in tact. I’m not the right fit for you, I will happily help you find another therapist who is.
What does it cost?
A single therapy session with me costs $160. Because I am a registered therapist with the CRPO, many benefits plans have coverage for our session and I can provide you with a receipt. If cost is an issue, please let me know and we can discuss a sliding scale. I strongly believe that access to mental health services is a human right that everyone deserves, regardless of income - so please don’t hesitate to ask for what you need.
